  • Indian sub-continent is located in the Northern and Eastern hemisphere.
  • The tropic of Cancer (23.5° N) latitude passes through 8 states ( Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya pradesh ,Chhattisgarh , Jharkhand , West Bengal , Tripura and Mizoram).
